Als Helfer bei der Kickelhahn-Wanderung sorgst du dafür, dass unsere Gruppe sicher und vollständig ans Ziel kommt. Mit Warnweste und Funkgerät ausgestattet hilfst du dabei, die Gruppe zusammenzuhalten, den Überblick zu bewahren und die Erstis sicher durch die Stadt und über Straßen zu führen. Gerade beim Überqueren von Straßen bist du ein wichtiger Teil des Teams: Du sicherst Übergänge ab und stellst sicher, dass niemand verloren geht oder zurückbleibt. Ohne diesen Dienst wäre eine so große Wanderung durch die Stadt nicht sicher möglich – du trägst also maßgeblich dazu bei, dass alle entspannt und wohlbehalten auf den Kickelhahn kommen.

Treffpunkt ist an der Mensa – von dort wandern wir gemeinsam auf den Kickelhahn. Finde dich 10 Minuten vor deinem Schichtbeginn am Treffpunkt ein und melde dich bei der Orga (den Menschen in Orange), um deinen Dienst zu beginnen.

As a helper on the Kickelhahn hike, you make sure our group reaches its destination safely and in one piece. Equipped with a safety vest and a radio, you help keep the group together, maintain an overview and guide the first-year students safely through the city and across streets. Especially when crossing roads, you're an important part of the team: you secure crossings and make sure no one gets lost or falls behind. Without this duty, a hike this size through the city wouldn't be safely possible – so you play a key role in getting everyone to the Kickelhahn relaxed and safe and sound.

We meet at the Mensa (dining hall) and hike up the Kickelhahn together. Arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before your shift starts and check in with the organizers (the people in orange) to begin your duty.
